CONTACT 2010: Oregon multimedia artist Gus Frederick has long been facinated with the concept of visually stretching and shrinking time. This naturally led to time-lapse cinematography, initially on motion picture film, but now much more easily accomplished by way of various digital processes. Multiple examples, in the form of entertaining short subjects embedded on YouTube, will be shown, along with a technical overview of their creation.
